Jesus, help me to make something beautiful for You. In this poem. In this bit of earth. In this cake or loaf of bread or painting or song. Not only can I not do it truly, essentially, without You. I can't do it for You without You. ~ Lanier
If this qoute doesn't make you think, than perhaps you need to take a look at your walk with Jesus. No matter how small, we can do everything in our day for His glory. But we can't do it for His glory without Him!
Think about this friends ~ so inspiring.

"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him."

"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

I think it's pretty clear from the Bible (especially the New Testament in Paul's letters, but also some in the Old) that as believers, the things we do at least ought to bring glory to God - even if it's just, as your quote said, making bread. But without God helping us to do it for Him, we can't do anything. ^.^

(Hello, by the way; I saw your blog on Melody's Vividry page, just in case you were wondering where this random person came from!)

Dearly Beloved Daughter Rachel,

You are so beautiful to me, can't you see? Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman (which you are becoming) who fears the Lord shall be praised!

Thanks for the great blog!
