Feelin' Feminine Challenge Day #1
Monday, October 19, 2009
Today was the first day of the "Challenge"..... here are some pictures of what I wore!
And two french braids in my hair. I am trying to figure out some nicer things to do with my hair. I feel like my #1 hairstyle has been pony tails....pony tails....on and on it goes. I'm ready for something different! Any ideas?
I'm sure you already saw it on Courtney's blog, but we were so excited to wake up thismorning and find an update on Isaac in our email! It is so fun to hear about him...it makes me feel like he's not so far away. From the update, we now know that he:
~likes milk and eggs
~likes to play outside
~likes playing with toy cars
~attends a class with other children (yikes - Chinese preschool already???)
~can say some words like "mom" and "grandma"
~knows how to go to his "Ayi" (nanny) and ask for water when he's thirsty
~is STUBBORN (Great! Sounds like this boy has some personality!!)
Anyway, we were told that we might get some new pictures of him soon, so we're really looking forward to that. I am getting so excited to go to China and see this little brother of mine!

I'm so glad you guys got an update on Issac!! How exciting!!
Have a wonderful evening!
Your outfit is lovely, Rachel! I love that skirt!! It's so pretty and feminine. :) Oh, and your hairstyle is very neat. I don't really have any ideas for you as far as that goes. That was the hardest part of the challenge for me! I usually either leave my hair down or put it in a ponytail. Maybe you could try a bun? ;)
