Beyond the Cover

Jenna over at Feminine Farmgirl has started a new blog, Beyond the Cover. She, her brother, and a friend all discuss books they are currently reading, and you're welcome to join their discussions!

At this time, they're going through Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. I've never read it myself, but have heard that it is a great book - and I have it reserved at the library!

Just click here

to visit the blog and join in the discussion!!

Hi Rachel,
I've tagged you! Don't feel like you have to do it right away though. I know this is a busy time of year for everyone! :)

Hi Rachel,
I would google "holistic goat wormers" to find something temporary to use before the chemical wormer gets there. I can't really think of anything off hand besides maybe giving her some Garlic...take care of it soon because the white/gray gums are a bad sign. I think you'll find a bit of info by searching the internet. Sorry I don't have any other advise to offer:(

I thought about the goat wormer some more. Give her garlic for wormer and iron to boost her blood. If you have Diotomacious Earth that's food grade, give her some of that.

HTH!

In answer to your questions:

I have never used the DE before, but 1/4 c one or two times a day sounds like enough. I highly recommend Iron and garlic...the Iron will help her with blood regulation because all of the worms are sucking that out of her...is she still eating? Garlic will help loose the worms. What kind of wormer did you order?
She should be okay, just make sure that she still eats and get the wormer as soon as possible!

Hope it all goes well:) And don't worry, I do not mind the goat questions at all - they've got to be asked, right?! No problem here.
